Frequently Asked Questions -– Sales/Clients
1. What are your billing rates?
Rates are determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to: facility type, therapist compensation, geographic location, population, experience and volume.
2. Can you provide coverage on short notice?
VTA has an approximate 75% fill rate on last minute coverage requests called into our office with less than 24-hour notice.
3. If I like your candidate, can I put her/him on my staff?
There is a provision in our agreement to allow for a liquidated damages buy out of a therapist's services.
4. Are your therapists employees?
No, all of the therapists associated with VTA are independent contractors, or are subcontracted through agreements VTA holds with other agencies.
5. Are VTA therapists covered by workers' compensation insurance and malpractice insurance?
All VTA therapists have their own malpractice insurance. Some, but not all, therapists carry workers' compensation insurance. VTA is encouraging all Independent Contractors to obtain and maintain their own workers' compensation insurance.
6. What is your contract process?
VTA will send you a copy of our agreement, which outlines the responsibilities of VTA, the therapist and the client. If all information is acceptable as written, we ask that you sign and return agreement to us (via fax) so that we may get started. If you have questions, we ask that you call your sales representative. From time to time adjustments are made to the agreement (with attorney approval) to best accommodate all parties. (Please note that a credit check is run automatically, upon contract request.)
